Software engineer in the Search, Shopping and Pricing section of Amadeus, and more specifically in the pricing part of the tickets search engine of the company. Programming in C and Perl under Windows.
The CEA LIST researchers work on smart digital systems, the development is focused on embedded systems, interactive systems, sensors and signal processing. Supervisor: Hervé Le Borgne, research-engineer ; "Objects recognition and localization in images". Creation and implementation of an original algorithm to recognize and localize objects in images (pattern recognition and localization). Work with big databases of image descriptors (big data issues), use of statistical tools, of machine learning theory and image and signal processing tools. Programming in C++ (OOP - oriented-object programming) under Linux. Grade obtained: Very Good.
Supervisors : Jean-Luc Gaffard and Lionel Nesta, respectively director and deputy director of the "Innovation, Competition and Growth" department. "Heterogeneity in Markups, Productivity and the Export Status: Evidence from French Manufacturing Firms"(working paper). Use of statistical tools and development of a statistical model (econometrics) to solve an economic problem. Work with big databases, use of the advanced statistics software Stata, writing of an article. Grade obtained: Very Good. Article here:
